Our vision at LifePoint, is to see everyone growing in the transforming power of Christ. One of our main focuses is Kids ministry. Children are the now, and the future of the successful spread of the gospel. Our goal is to invest in our communities’ children, to see them embrace the Lord Jesus. We want kids to have fun at church, because church should be the best place to be, and at LifePoint it is!
We’ve just concluded our first season of LifeLand. It was open Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 10:00am - 3:00 pm (October – April). Lifeland is a kids indoor playground (unsupervised) featuring the 'Little Tykes' product play equipment with tunnels, slides, cars, swings and an inflatable jump dome. It is a place for moms and dads to get together and visit, while our kids run off some steam thru the very long cold winter days!! Lifeland was a wonderful experience this year and we look forward to re-opening this fall! It is open to everyone, and by donation only; be sure to come and check it out!
We have a very innovative and exciting Kids Sunday school program. Classes are offered for kids aged two and up, including Club 68 (Grades 6-8) and High school, each week at 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Regular classes will be concluding at the end of May, to resume in the Fall. Over the summer months, however, we are pleased to have an intern, Pastor Aileen with us, who is offering a program each Sunday from 11 a.m. for about an hour. We’d love to see your kids this summer – no registration is required. Also watch for more details on some other great summer programs for your kids, including Backyard clubs, Vacation Bible School, and sports days.
